We were thrilled when Michael's childhood school friend Nerida Blackford agreed to be our Celebrant when we married on a glorious Nambucca Heads headland on 15/9/2018. Over nearly 10 months, Nerida led us professionally through the planning process- all the paperwork, deciding on the format of our ceremony, and suggestions to assist composing our vows.

Your prompt communication, willingness to listen to what we were comfortable with and flexibility of fitting in with our plans was greatly appreciated!! Your friendly manner when you came to our house to discuss what we wanted and the opportunity for us to edit the draft made your involvement stress free and very pleasant.
We were particularly grateful for your flexibility on the day as we transferred our motorcycles from the procession to our garden archway and then required a large amount of time for our deeply important Aboriginal Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. Your patience and sense of humour fitted perfectly with our casual wedding, but I’m sure you could adapt to any wedding situation with grace and genuine caring!
